MING LUKE, CONDUCTOR

Ming Luke is a versatile conductor that has excited audiences around the world. Highlights include conducting the Bolshoi Orchestra in Moscow, performances of Romeo and Juliet and Cinderella at the Kennedy Center, his English debut at Sadler’s Wells with Birmingham Royal, conducting Dvorak’s Requiem in Dvorak Hall in Prague, recording scores for a Coppola film, and over a hundred performances at the San Francisco War Memorial with San Francisco Ballet. He has been recognized nationally for his work with music education and has designed and conducted education concerts and programs with organizations such as the Berkeley Symphony, Houston Symphony, Sacramento Philharmonic, San Francisco Opera and others.

 

JASON SEBER, CONDUCTOR

Jason Seber recently completed his six-year tenure with the Kansas City Symphony where he led over 300 concerts featuring many genres of music, as Assistant Conductor and Associate Conductor. Prior to his appointment with the KCS, Seber served as Education Conductor of the Louisville Orchestra from 2013 to 2016 and MD of the LYO from 2005 to 2016. Seber has guest conducted many leading American orchestras, including the Colorado, Houston, Indianapolis, Milwaukee, Nashville and St. Louis Symphonies. Seber developed a passion for Pops in Kansas City and looks forward to creating/arranging and conducting new and exciting programs across the country.

LUCAS WALDIN, CONDUCTOR

Lucas Waldin is a dynamic conductor and arranger whose performances have delighted audiences across North America. He has collaborated with some of today’s most exciting artists including Carly Rae Jepsen, Ben Folds, The Canadian Brass and Buffy Sainte-Marie, in addition to conducting presentations such as Aretha: Queen of Soul (co-creator), Disney in ConcertBlue Planet Live, Cirque de la Symphonie and the groundbreaking symphonic debut of R&B duo Dvsn as part of the global Red Bull Music Festival. In October of 2022, he will debut Capathia Jenkins’ new show, She’s Got Soul with the Houston Symphony.
